Tuesday evenings, from 5 October to 30 November, 7.00pm – 9.00pm.
On 5 October, the first meeting will be an introduction to meditation and Zen practice.
Over subsequent weeks, we’ll cover some fundamental topics: finding an end to suffering, acceptance, karma and the Precepts, discerning what it’s good to do, compassion and no separate self. The format of these evenings will be the same as for our usual Basic Buddhism Evenings, with meditation followed by tea and a talk/discussion. You’re welcome to attend any part of the course. If you’re not able to make it to the first meeting on 5 October, you can come along to later meetings, but you’d need to arrive at 6.15pm on your first visit, to be introduced to our meditation practice before the evening begins.
